When should I order my cake?

Ideally orders should be placed 8 weeks prior to your event or wedding. This allows time for your ideas to be created and for any required decoration to be ordered. However, we do appreciate that sometimes last minute decisions or ‘let downs’ can occur – please call us and we will do everything in our power to create your perfect little bake.

How much will my cake cost?

Your wedduing cake or celebration cake will vary in cost dependant on your chosen design, flavour choice and number of servings. All price guidelines are within the prices section of the site. Any variations on price will always be highlighted on ordering – at this point you will know the total price for your cake.

Do you charge for delivery and set up?

Any orders within a 15 mile radius from York, YO32 2TX are free, after this your delivery and set up will be charged as follows:

16-25 miles: Delivery and Set charge of £30 

25-30 miles: Delivery and Set charge of £40

30 + miles: Please contact me with your requirements.

Do you offer a design service?

Of course - Little Miss Bakes take pride in every cake produced and we would never want you to have a cake that quite simply wouldn’t work. We are here to work with you as a team to create the cake of your dreams, every step of the way consultations will be made so you are never left in the cold.

I have found my dream cake in a magazine, can you copy it?

No, we can never make a straight copy from a magazine as this is stealing someone else’s hard work and design, however you can bring this along to help inspire me and we can use this along with your own ideas and colour themes to create a cake equally as special and more personal to you.

What flavours are your cakes?

Little Miss Bakes will always endeavour to make the cake flavour of your choice, so please feel free to offer your suggestions. However as standard we offer the following:

Belgian Chocolate – White, Milk or Dark

Chocolate Orange

Vanilla Sponge

Carrot Cake

Lemon Sponge

Rich Fruit (Alcoholic)

Rich Fruit (Non-alcoholic)

Light Fruit (Alcoholic)

Light Fruit (Non-alcoholic)

All cakes can be iced in chocolate ganache, royal icing or sugarpaste to name but a few.

What about cake stand hire?

Not everyone wants to use our cake stands as they may have one at the venue or have one of sentimental value, however If required, we will happily provide you with an appropriate cake stand free of charge for the event and evening of the event, however this will require a refundable deposit of £50.
